New Year's Online Retreat with Andrew Getz: The Four Tasks of Awakening



Retreat Description:

The Four Noble Truths can be re-envisioned as the Four Ennobling Tasks of

  • Comprehending suffering

  • Letting go of reactivity

  • Realzing cessation

  • Cultivating the path

During this retreat, Andrew will guide our online sangha in exploring how we may apply these tasks directly to our meditation practice.

The schedule will include periods of guided sitting mediation, dharma talks, Q&A, and breaks. This retreat it appropriate for all levels of experience, beginners are welcome!

Prior to the retreat, we will email you more details, including the retreat schedule and Zoom information.

This is a dana(donations)-based retreat and you will have opportunities to make contributions directly to Andrew. To learn more about dana, go here.

Note: Retreat opens at 9am on Thursday
7:30 - 8:15am Meditation (Friday-Sunday)
9 – 10:15 am Meditation and instructions for the day (Thursday will include introduction to the retreat)
3 – 4 pm Guided meditation; questions
6:30 – 8:15 pm Meditation; Dharma talk
9 – 9:30 pm Meditation
